The valley of the gods of deceit.

Wickedness borne out of a sincere desire to communicate your love for God, to God , with God remains wickedness as far as I can see. 

For you did not temper the expectations of the eagerly waiting chicks. You opened up a door wide for them but did not warn them that you were seeking and knew not all the answers.

You created a new religion and made up the path and as you trudged along, you dragged the hapless chicks who in their peculiar ability to delude themselves saw themselves as having arrived at the point where the almighty waited to take them home.

Never mind that they lacked charity, works of love and compassion, they even lacked faith which explained their lack of fervour in everything up to the time they were led to you by their conceit.

Mistaking their weakness for strength, they saw their lazy empty lives as an exalted state of detached spirituality - a signal of spiritual exaltation and on this premise, their minds drove them relentlessly to the valley of the gods of deceit. They mistook their many weaknesses for strength.

You have suffered enough. You have learnt things which in the end are meaningless. Don't die in this delusion. Find your way back to the cross of Calvary.

His yoke is easy. His burden light.
